my second time in Suwon was as adventurous as the first.
sadly i did not take a two-story bus this time but the ride was still nice. i went to Suwon with my friends from home. the first thing we did was visit a filming location for the K-drama, Lovely Runner. it was so pretty. we took a photo at a nearby photobooth and then went to another filming location for the K-drama, My Beloved Summer. similar to how i felt when seeing the BTS: In the SOOP house for the first time, i felt like i was stepping into my phone screen and seeing these places in person.
next me, Caitlin and Russell went to the Starfield Library. the Starfield Library in Gangnam, Seoul is an iconic decorative, location at the COEX mall that most tourists visit. there is another Starfield library located at a mall in Suwon that we visited. it’s pretty and looks similar to the one in Gangnam but they are different so we wanted to see it. afterward, we went shopping for a bit and i found one of my favorite sweaters that i hesitated to buy at first. i’m glad i bought it now because i bought more sweaters from the brand later on and it’s my new favorite brand. it’s a little sad though because it’s only available in Korea…..
for the final part of our Suwon trip my friends and i visited an overpass near the Paldalmun Gate because it was another filming location for a K-drama they liked called Twenty-Five Twenty-One. it was super hot by this time and we had to hike up a bunch of stairs so i was drenched in sweat but the sunset was beautiful. after the gate, we ate at Kyochon and visited the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a historical landmark. we couldn’t fully explore it because it was late and we had to go but it looked really pretty at night.
